When you set a recording to "Public" or "Anyone with the link," you understand that it may become accessible to people outside your workspace.
Always review sharing settings before publishing any recording that contains private or sensitive information.
4. Subscriptions and billing
theRec.site offers free and paid plans with different storage limits and features. Refund eligibility is governed by ourRefund Policy.
↑ Upgrading your plan
When you upgrade to a higher plan, new features take effect immediately. Any price difference may be charged on a prorated basis for the remainder of your current billing cycle.
↓ Downgrading your plan
When you move to a lower plan, your current benefits continue until the end of the paid period. New plan limits apply automatically at the next renewal.
Renewal and cancellation
Paid subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel before the next renewal date in your account or Paddle billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals only; unless a refund is approved under our Refund Policy, access to paid features remains active until the end of the current billing period.
Paddle as Merchant of Record
Paid subscriptions are sold by Paddle.com (including Paddle.com Market Limited or an affiliated Paddle entity), which acts as Merchant of Record. Paddle is the seller of record for your purchase, handles payment processing, invoicing, applicable sales tax/VAT, fraud prevention, and payment compliance. Your contract for payment is with Paddle. theRec.site provides the software service and does not store full payment card numbers.
Charges on your bank or card statement may appear as PADDLE.NET* THEREC, PADDLE, or a similar Paddle billing descriptor. If you do not recognize a charge, contact Paddle support or [email protected] before disputing.
You may cancel renewal at any time from your account billing settings or the Paddle customer portal linked from your billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless a refund is approved.
If you have a billing issue, contact [email protected] or Paddle first. Unauthorized chargebacks or payment disputes filed without contacting us may result in suspension of paid access while the dispute is reviewed.
If you are a consumer in the EU/UK, you may have statutory rights including a withdrawal period for certain online purchases. Where Paddle processes your payment, Paddle's buyer terms and applicable consumer law may apply to the transaction. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot be waived by contract.
All prices are shown in USD unless stated otherwise at checkout. Paddle may apply local taxes where required.

theRec.site may comply with valid legal requests, court orders, regulatory obligations, and law enforcement requirements when legally required to do so, including preservation or disclosure of information associated with accounts or content where permitted by applicable law.
