Refund Policy
Subscription refund eligibility, cancellation rules, and how requests are evaluated on theRec.site.
1. Overview
theRec.site offers free and paid subscription plans with different features and usage limits. Purchases processed by Paddle as Merchant of Record may involve Paddle's buyer terms. This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be available and how cancellation affects your access. Contact [email protected] to request a refund.
2. Monthly plans
Monthly subscriptions are generally non-refundable once a billing cycle has started.
3. Annual Plan Refund Eligibility
Annual subscribers may request a refund within seven (7) calendar days from the payment date.
Refunds are only available if a substantial portion of the plan's included resources has not been consumed during the refund eligibility period.
For the purpose of this policy, usage is considered substantial when the customer has consumed twenty-five percent (25%) or more of any primary plan allowance or usage limit, including but not limited to:
- Number of recordings or videos included in the plan
- Storage capacity
- Video processing resources
- Workspace usage limits
- Any other metered or usage-based platform resources
If usage reaches or exceeds twenty-five percent (25%) of any primary plan allowance, the refund request may be deemed ineligible.
Example
If a plan includes up to 60 video uploads, uploading 15 or more videos during the refund eligibility period may make the subscription ineligible for a refund.
All refund requests are reviewed based on actual platform usage data recorded by the system. To submit a request, contact support via the email on our Contact page within the eligible period.
4. Cancellation
Cancellation stops future renewals only. Unless a refund is approved, access to paid features remains available until the end of the current billing period.
